Group Define

The Group Define command combines all of the currently selected drawing entities into one group.  The next time you select any part of the group, the entire group is selected.  You may have many different groups defined in a single drawing.  Combining multiple entities into a single group will make it easier to keep related items together for copying, moving, scaling, and other operations.

To combine two or more entities into a group:

1. Select the entities on the drawing screen.

2. Enact the Group Define command.

Note:

• You may combine entities from multiple layers into a single group.

• You may restore the entities to single objects using the Group Explode command.
