The Project Information command will allow you to assign specific information to a design such as the project site location and the project contact information. You can also enter the percent of profit, percent of overhead for labor and materials, miscellaneous fees/permits and more.
To enter the project information:

On the Material/Estimate Configuration dialog box, click on the Project Information tab.

Edit any of the available fields as necessary.

Click on the View Material List button to preview the quantity and description of all items in the report, or click on the View Estimate / Proposal button to the view the pricing information.

Click on the Close button to exit the command.
The following factors may be modified per project file:

Project Site Information |
Enter the site information such as the projects name, location address, city and state in the available text boxes. |

Project Contact Information |
Enter the customer's contact information such as the customer's name, address, telephone number, and email address in the available text boxes. |

Overhead Labor % |
Enter a percent of overhead to be applied to direct labor costs in the Overhead Labor % text box. Enter a rate of 30% as 30.00 and not 0.30. |

Overhead Materials % |
Enter a percent of overhead to be applied to material costs in the Overhead Material % text box. Enter a rate of 40% as 40.00 and not 0.40. |

Sales Tax % |
Most goods and services sold are taxed by a government agency on the state, county and/or city level. Enter the sales tax rate for the area in the Sales Tax % text box. Enter a rate of 8.25% as 8.25 and not 0.0825. |

Profit % |
A profit is the gain or return of income on a business undertaking after all costs have been met. The percent of profit is multiplied against the total expenses of a project including the material costs, labor costs, overhead expenses and fees and permits. Enter the desired percent of profit for the project in the Profit % text box. Enter a 20% rate as 20 and not 0.20. |

Fees/Permits |
In most cases, it is necessary to pay a fee to a government agency to tie into a water or electrical source. Enter the costs for required fees or permits in the Fees/Permits text box. |

Direct Labor |
Enter a labor rate associated with the installation of the system in the Direct Labor text box if necessary. |
|
Contract Labor |
Enter a labor rate associated with the installation of the system in the Contract Labor text box. |

Custom Expenses |
There may be times when the installation of a project includes expenses other than the cost of materials and labor. Examples of such expenses are tractor rental, boring equipment rental, travel expenses and more. Enter any description desired and a dollar amount associated with the entry in the Custom Expenses text boxes. You may enter up to seven different custom expenses. |
